Discussion of topical issues of public order protection during quarantine in OSUIA

On April 30, a round table was held at the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs on the topic: "Current issues of public order during quarantine." The event was organized by the Department of Police Administrative Activity of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Preventive Activities.

 

The moderator of the round table is the head of the department of administrative activity of the police, doctor of law, professor, lieutenant colonel of police Maksym Kornienko.

 

Among the participants - Colonel Ruslan Goryachenko, Head of the Human Rights Department of the National Police of Ukraine; Lieutenant Colonel Andriy Labun, Head of the Analytics and Personal Data Protection Department of the Human Rights Department of the National Police of Ukraine; Deputy Head of the Department - Head of the Situational Department of the Department of Organizational-Analytical Support and Operational Response of the National Police Headquarters in Odesa Oblast, Police Colonel Roman Kuzmych; police colonel Vitaliy Kapulyak, the Head of the Juvenile Preventive Department of the National Police Headquarters in Odessa Oblast Department of Internal Affairs; Zhanna Mishkevych, Senior Inspector for Special Assignments of the Department of Commissioners for Control over Observance of Human Rights in Police Activities of the Human Rights Observance Department of the National Police of Ukraine; senior district police officer, Candidate of Political Science, Associate Professor Major Police Ruslan Karagioz, as well as the scientific and pedagogical staff of the department, university scientists, graduate students, students and cadets of the University.

 

It was noted that the round table is applied and aimed at forming practical recommendations.

 

The most pressing issues of public order during the pandemic were discussed at the event. In particular, they discussed in more detail such issues as: protection of personal data and processing of such data in quarantine; measures and statistics of the National Police of Ukraine to prevent the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19; features of police work to prevent the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 in the Odessa region; the need for restrictions or violations of human rights and freedoms during the protection of public order during quarantine; the inevitability of bringing to administrative responsibility for violating the rules of quarantine of people; the impact of quarantine restrictions on the state of juvenile delinquency.
