Andrii Vozniuk, Head of the Scientific Laboratory for Crime Combating of the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, received the Prize of the President of Ukraine for Young Scientists (Decree of the President of Ukraine № 595/2020 on 29.12.2020) for the series of scientific works "Modern Concept of Counteraction to Organized Crime".

On March 1, in the Museum of Science of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician Anatolii Zahorodnii, presented Andrii Vozniuk with a diploma and a badge of honor.

Work on the project, which covers almost 200 publications, lasted more than 15 years. The series of scientific works is the first in Ukraine comprehensive study of the problems of criminal-legal counteraction to an organized criminal association, taking into account the practice of law enforcement and judicial bodies both in Ukraine and abroad. A number of innovative approaches to the strategy of combating organized crime have been proposed and successfully tested in various countries around the world.

The staff of the Academy congratulates Andrii Vozniuk on a significant achievement and wishes him success and further victories for the benefit of Ukraine.
