Cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the regional Ukrainian Women's Congress "The Power of Women. Vinnytsia region", which took place in Vinnytsia.

The event brought together women leaders from different fields: military personnel, representatives of public authorities, business, the public sector and international organizations. The main purpose of the congress was to discuss the role of women in strengthening communities, developing the state and forming a modern policy of equal opportunities.

The participants had the opportunity to join the discussion panels, during which the issues of women's leadership in war conditions, their contribution to the stability of society, the development of communities and the European integration of Ukraine were discussed.

Students of higher education actively participated in the work of the congress, gained new knowledge, exchanged experience with the participants of the event and were inspired by examples of successful women's leadership.

Participation in such events contributes to the formation of professional competences, the development of civic consciousness and the strengthening of the role of women in the security and defense sector, which is an important component of the training of future specialists of the MIA of Ukraine.
