A working meeting was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, dedicated to the organization of a mine safety training course for university representatives, which will be conducted by specialists of the «Tetra Tech» company.

The event was attended by Mark William Winfield, Liaison Officer for State Universities of Internal Affairs, as well as company instructors Vadym Nikitchyn and Oleksii Kolbun. From KhNUIA, the Head of the International Cooperation Department Tetiana Matiushkova, the Deputy Director of the ERI No. 2 for Educational and Research Activity Serhii Hirenko and Acting Head of the Department of Tactical and Special Training Tykhin Shevchenko took part in the meeting.2.jpg)
During the meeting, the participants discussed the program of the future course, its content and key educational modules. Particular attention was paid to the determination of locations for conducting theoretical and practical classes, which will make it possible to ensure effective practice of skills in the closest possible to real conditions. The format of the final test and other organizational aspects of the training were also agreed.2.jpg)
The implementation of the training course will contribute to increasing the level of professional training of academic staff of the university and their readiness to act in case of detection of explosive ordnance.
