The Rector of the Police University spoke to the Lyceum Principal Oleksandr Balenko and the pupils of the educational institution. Valerii Sokurenko told the lyceum students about the university, its history and traditions, the specialities that train specialists for the National Police of Ukraine, and invited the young people to study to gain quality knowledge and a prestigious and popular profession.

Valerii Sokurenko also attended a physical education lesson held on the power playground donated by Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and presented awards to the winners of the competitions held at the lyceum as part of the Physical Education and Sports Week. The General emphasised the importance of physical training for a modern young person and noted that the university pays great attention to sports and physical fitness of cadets - future police officers - during their studies. To this end, the university has created and operates many sections in various sports, and cadets and students of the higher education institution become winners of competitions at the national, European and world levels.
