Adaptive sports as a tool for recovery and return to active life
НАВС

Within the framework of the development of the adaptive sports direction, a training session was held with a combat participant, a disabled war veteran, a veteran of the 87th separate battalion, a participant in the ATO and JFO, Vasyl Mushka. The serviceman defended Ukraine in various directions, went through a difficult combat path and is now continuing his recovery thanks to systematic training.

One of the key areas of his physical rehabilitation is the development of strength qualities using exercises with a barbell and kettlebell. Such training contributes to the gradual restoration of the body's functional capabilities, strengthening the muscular corset, improving coordination of movements and overall endurance.

The set of exercises was conducted under the guidance of Andrii Ladyniak, a senior lecturer at the Department of Physical Training, who provides methodological support and controls the load.

During the class, Vasyl Mushko noted: "For me, adaptive sports are systematic work on restoring the body and psycho-emotional state. Each workout gives a sense of progress, restores confidence in one's own abilities, and helps to move forward, regardless of the circumstances."
