In Vinnytsia, at the sports base of Vinnytsia National Medical University, the basketball championship "Side by Side: All-Ukrainian Student Leagues" among men's teams was held, in which the national team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs performed with dignity.

On their way to the final, KhNUIA basketball team put in a confident and well-coordinated performance. In the group stage, the team secured two crucial victories – against opponents from Vinnytsia National Technical University (62:58) and Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University named after Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi (64:29) – which allowed them to advance to the play-offs as group winners.

In the semi-final, KhNUIA players convincingly defeated the team from Vinnytsia Institute of Trade and Economics of State University of Trade and Economics with a score of 54:18, earning the right to compete for the title in the final.

In the decisive match, KhNUIA team faced the basketball players of Vinnytsia National Technical University and, despite a hard-fought contest, lost 60–78.

At the end of the championship, KhNUIA basketball team won II place and became the silver medallists of the competition.
