Participants of the hostilities, students of the “Barrier-free driving school” Dmytro PETRENKO and Andrii LIUBIMENKO, who as a result of the war suffered serious injuries and lost their lower limbs, successfully passed the practical exam at the Territorial Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kamianets-Podilskyi and received a driver’s license.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the men without hesitation stood up for the defense of the Motherland, choosing the profession of a sapper. While performing a combat mission, they were injured: during a counterattack in Zaporizhzhia direction, Andrii LIUBIMENKO stepped on a mine while rescuing a wounded comrade, and Dmytro PETRENKO was wounded in battles near Toretsk in Donetsk direction.
Obtaining a driver's license was an important step for Dmytro and Andrii on the path to recovery, independence, and further self-realization.
The military expressed sincere gratitude to the driving school instructors, specialists, and everyone who contributed to creating a barrier-free environment for those who, defending Ukraine, maintained their indomitability and strength of spirit..jpg)
