Scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with the inspector of the Striletsky Special Purpose Police Battalion of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia Region, conducted a practical training session for students using airsoft equipment and pyrotechnic devices.

Cadets mastered the procedure for providing self- and mutual assistance to the wounded in an area under direct enemy fire, identified life-threatening bleeding, practised methods of movement and rules for handling weapons in the event of possible fire contact. They also learned the tactics of small tactical groups in open terrain. Special attention was paid to practical skills in handling weapons, techniques for firing during sudden changes in the situation, providing first aid, and evacuating the wounded.

At the end, participants summarised the results, discussed problematic and positive aspects, and identified tasks for further improvement of professional skills.
