Yevhenii Savchenko, a veteran of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, became the bronze medalist of the international tournament “Golden League of Nations 2026” as part of the national team of Ukraine in sitting volleyball, which was held on May 29-31 in the Polish city of Zawiercie.

The prestigious competition was attended by six of the strongest men's national teams in Europe. The Ukrainian team demonstrated a high level of skill, team spirit and will to win, taking third place in the tournament.

The winner of the “Golden League of Nations 2026” was the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the silver medals were won by the German team, and the bronze went to the Ukrainian team. The national teams of Poland, Croatia and Hungary also competed for awards.
