The Odesa Region Weightlifting Championship was held in the sports complex of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs. 

More than 50 athletes from five teams took part in the competition. 

At the beginning of the event, the audience was presented with a demonstration performance by the Honored Master of Sports, Honored Coach of Ukraine Dmytro Polozhenko. 

Competing for the title of the best, all the weight lifters, without exception, demonstrated great strength and endurance, strength of spirit and thirst for victory. 

According to the results of the fierce competition in the team championship, the team of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs became the winner, the team of the Odesa Military Academy won the silver medal, and the team of Yaskivsk OTG took third place.
