KhNUIA: Physical recovery of veterans
НАВС

Adaptive training for war veterans at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is conducted taking into account the individual capabilities and needs of each participant.

The next set of exercises for the combat participant Andrii Liubimenko was conducted by the teacher of the Department of Special Physical Training, Tetiana Polinska. The program was built taking into account his physical capabilities and was aimed at developing strength, coordination and endurance. During the training, Andrii performed bench presses, dumbbell exercises and other physical exercises.

The teacher monitored the technique of performing the exercises, the intensity of the load and the well-being of the athlete, adjusting the program if necessary and gradually increasing the physical load.

An individual approach is one of the key principles of organizing veteran sports at KhNUIA. The program of each training is determined taking into account the physical capabilities of the person, the level of his training, needs and stage of recovery.
Systematic practice of adaptive sports helps strengthen muscles, improve coordination and endurance, restore physical fitness and return to an active lifestyle.
