Second-year cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training, took part in the military-tactical training “Border: Gray Zone”. The event was organized by the 14th Operational Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Chervona Kalyna”.
The purpose of the training was to increase the practical training of future law enforcement officers to perform tasks in difficult conditions, close to real combat operations during martial law.

During the training, the cadets practiced:
- assault and defense of key positions;
- conducting raids, search and evacuation in a conditional “gray zone”;
- actions during mining and destruction of strategic objects;
- sabotage and reconnaissance operations behind enemy lines.

All stages of the training took place in conditions as close as possible to real combat situations.

Representative of the NGU “Chervona Kalyna” Andrii noted: “During such classes, we share with the cadets our own combat experience gained on the front line. It is important that young law enforcement officers understand the realities of modern combat, be able to act quickly, coherently and confidently in any circumstances.”

Cadet Oleksandr shared his impressions: “It was a very useful experience. We felt in practice how important it is to work as a team. Such training shows that theory has real value only when it is supported by action.”
