A working meeting of university representatives with Mark William Winfield, an Liaison Officer for State Universities of Internal Affairs at Tetra Tech, and technical translator Natalia Bazhyna was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
The main purpose of the meeting was to transfer equipment and training materials to Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for further use in the educational process and during training events in the field of humanitarian mine action.

The Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police General of the Third Rank Valerii Sokurenko, thanked the representatives of Tetra Tech for their support of the University, fruitful cooperation and assistance in the development of its educational and material base.
"For Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, such support is of important practical importance; the equipment and training materials received will allow us to strengthen the practical component of the educational process and create additional opportunities for conducting trainings and practical classes in the field of mine safety and humanitarian mine action," Valerii Sokurenko noted.

The transferred equipment and training materials create additional opportunities for high-quality training and development of the university’s capabilities in the field of humanitarian mine action,” said Mark William Winfield. During the working meeting, representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and Tetra Tech also discussed the procedure and directions for further use of the transferred equipment, the possibility of its involvement in training courses, as well as the prospects for conducting joint training events.
