The Center for International Projects "Euroeducation" on the recommendations of the international expert group IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence published the twentieth academic ranking of higher education institutions of Ukraine "TOP-200 Ukraine 2026".

The rating is based on a comprehensive assessment of the activities of universities. During its formation, the results of international and national rankings, indicators of scientific activity, the level of international recognition, digital presence, innovation and social responsibility, as well as the contribution of higher education institutions to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals are taken into account. In the 2026 rating, the role of these indicators was strengthened.
According to the results of this year's rating, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took 115th place among higher education institutions of Ukraine, improving its result by 13 positions compared to last year. Among the higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine that train police officers, KhNUIA took the highest place.

The improvement in the ranking confirms the consistent development of the university, the high quality of educational and scientific activities, as well as the strengthening of its authority among higher education institutions in Ukraine.
