
As part of the “Search for the Future” project, another rehabilitation program “The Path to Victory” has been completed, focused on psychologists in the security and defense sector of Ukraine. The program trainers were Natalia Miloradova and Victoria Dotsenko, professors of the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Pedagogy of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who consistently implement psychological support systems for representatives of auxiliary professions aimed at preventing professional burnout and psychological decompression.

The main vector of the program is a deepening understanding of psycho-emotional states, mastering self-help tools to overcome exhaustion, recovery after traumatic events, as well as increasing professional competence in the field of psychological rehabilitation and preserving internal resources.

The program included simulation technologies for safe psychological processing of traumatic experiences, as well as scientifically based express methods and preventive self-regulation techniques: breathing exercises, guided visualization and progressive muscle relaxation according to Jacobson. To stabilize acute panic states, participants mastered somatic and cognitive grounding techniques. A separate block was devoted to psychological decompression and stress reduction using expressive art therapy tools (metaphorical associative maps, mandala therapy, drawing and work with plastic materials).
