During a binary lesson on the topic of “Simulation of situations during the application of police coercion measures”, cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs practiced the tactics of the search group in order to identify and detain persons who escaped from custody.

They worked out the methods of conducting a unilateral, counter and combined search; the actions of police officers as part of small tactical groups in an open area; the actions of police officers during the detention of armed criminals; the release of hostages.

The lesson, which was conducted by scientific and pedagogical workers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with an instructor of the 14th operational brigade of the NGU “Chervona Kalyna”, was carried out using airsoft equipment and pyrotechnics, which made it possible to bring the conditions as close as possible to real ones.
