The team of the educational project "Financial Patrol" of KhNUIA continues a series of workshops aimed at developing financial literacy, forming skills for recognizing fraudulent schemes and fostering a responsible attitude to personal financial security among teenagers. The project is actively gaining momentum. Only during the last week, the team visited four institutions of general secondary education in Vinnytsia – lyceums No. 4, 13, 30 and lyceums No. 7 named after Oleksandr Sukhomovskyi and No. 30 named after Taras Shevchenko. More than 100 high school students took part in the workshops.3.jpg)
During the interactive classes, schoolchildren got acquainted with common financial risks, modern types of fraud, rules for personal data protection and safe behavior in the online environment. Particular attention was paid to socially sensitive aspects of financial security, in particular issues of countering the involvement of teenagers in illegal actions, conscious refusal to participate in fraudulent schemes, as well as risks associated with careless behavior on the network and violation of personal boundaries. The format of the workshops combined discussions of real life situations, practical tasks and open dialogue, which contributed to better assimilation of the material and the formation of critical thinking in the field of finance and digital security.6.jpg)
A separate important element of the events was the career guidance component. Members of the – project team, cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs – informed students about the possibilities of studying at KhNUIA, admission conditions and features of the educational process, familiarized them with the training of specialists in the specialties D1 «Accounting and Taxation», D8 «Law» and F5 «Cyber Security and Information Protection», emphasizing modern educational approaches and prospects for professional realization of graduates.
