Cadets, students and employees of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the requiem rallies on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in the Second World War of 1939–1945. The events were held with the participation of representatives of local governments, the public, veterans and residents of communities.
The participants honored the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine, victims of Nazism and all those whose lives were taken by the Second World War. Those present joined the nationwide minute of silence and laid flowers at memorials, monuments and burial places of soldiers.

The participation of young people in such events is an important component of national-patriotic education, the formation of historical memory and respect for the heroic past of the Ukrainian people. The younger generation realizes the importance of preserving peace, unity, and historical truth, especially in the context of Ukraine's current struggle for its independence and freedom.
