As part of the cooperation between the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the 14th Operational Brigade of the NGU "Chervona Kalyna", a meeting of cadets of the university, Sumy branch and Kremenchuk Flight College with a serviceman, Ukrainian historian and public figure Serhii Hromenko took place.
The guest spoke in detail about the history of the creation of the military unit, the stages of its formation and the combat path in the modern Russian-Ukrainian war, and also touched on the topics of combat experience, service features and the importance of motivation and cohesion of personnel.
Special attention was paid to the role of the brigade in the system of the National Guard of Ukraine in conditions of a full-scale invasion. Combining scientific experience and military practice, Serhii Hromenko outlined the historical context of Ukraine's modern struggle.
The meeting took place in the format of an open dialogue: the cadets actively asked questions about service, training, motivation, and challenges faced by military personnel.
Such events are an important component of the national-patriotic education of youth, and also contribute to the formation of historical consciousness and respect for the defenders of Ukraine.
