The first-ever Ukrainian sitting volleyball championship for veterans, which spanned over six months, has concluded. Thirteen teams from various regions of Ukraine participated in the competition.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs (KhNUIA) was represented by the "Invasport"-KhNUIA team, featuring university staff members and veterans Oleksandr Hovorukha and Yevhenii Savchenko.

The "Invasport"-KhNUIA team finished third in the championship, securing the bronze medals.

The participation of university veterans in adaptive sports is a key component of KhNUIA veteran support policy, which aims to foster physical recovery and social adaptation while actively engaging veterans in sporting and social life.
