The WAKO Kickboxing World Cup was held in Antalya (Turkey). Roman PSHENYCHNYI, a 2nd year cadet of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in the prestigious international tournament, successfully representing Ukraine and winning a silver medal.

On the way to the decisive match, Roman had a series of intense matches: in the 1/6 he defeated an athlete from Turkey, in the quarterfinals – another representative of this country, and in the semifinals he won a convincing victory over the second number in the world ranking – an opponent from Kazakhstan.

In the final fight, Roman PSHENYCHNYI faced a Ukrainian athlete and took an honorable second place, becoming the silver medalist of the World Kickboxing Cup.
