On February 10, a solemn ceremony of awarding scholarships of Kharkiv Mayor "Giftedness" took place in Kharkiv. Among the honorees is the cadet of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Roman Pshenychnyi.

Mayor Ihor Terekhov congratulated the youth, who even in wartime show high results in education, science and sports, and presented well-deserved scholarships «Giftedness». The ceremony was attended by the Rector of the university Valerii Sokurenko, who personally congratulated the cadet with an honorary award.

Roman Pshenychnyi successfully combines university studies with professional sports. He is a multiple champion of Khmelnytskyi and Khmelnytskyi region, a seven-time champion of Ukraine (since 2018 he holds this title), the winner of the 2023 World Cup in Budapest, as well as the silver medalist of the World Cup, the World Championship and the WAKO European Kickboxing Championship among adults in 2024.

«Each award – is primarily a responsibility. It is important for me to represent not only myself, but also the university. The support of the university's management and lecturers adds confidence and strength to move forward», – noted Roman.

Celebrating a cadet at the city level – is evidence that purposeful, persistent and strong-minded future officers who know how to achieve high results in both education and sports are being formed at KhNUIA.
