The WAKO Kickboxing Championship of Ukraine among Children and Youth Sports School and sports clubs was held in Ternopil. Cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the competition, who demonstrated a high level of training and gained prize-winning places.

According to the results of the championship:

I place in the «full-contact» section among adults (weight category up to 63.5 kg) was won by third-year cadet Roman Savchuk;

I place in the K1 section among senior juniors (weight category over 91 kg) was taken by first-year cadet Daniel Tymchuk;

     II place in the «low-kik» section among adults (weight category up to 81 kg) was won by third-year cadet Roman Pshenychnyi.
