KhNUIA team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs won first place in the University category at the All-Ukrainian competition in cybersecurity Sikorsky CTF 2026, organized by Ihor Sikorskyi Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
Within 24 hours, the participants performed 45 practical tasks in Web Security, Reverse Engineering, cryptography, forensics, OSINT, PWN, steganography, ICS/SCADA, Mobile Security and programming.

According to the results of the competition, KhNUIA team scored 1453 points and demonstrated the best result of the tournament, ahead of 57 university teams from all over Ukraine.
The team included cadets of the educational and scientific institute No. 4: Ivan Tsurkan, Illia Zaika, Vladyslav Kochyn, Arsenii Podvalnyi and Maksym Trofymenko.
The winners received certificates, valuable gifts and the opportunity to undergo CCWD certification from Hack Defender Academy for free.
The team's high result was a confirmation of the thorough practical training of the cadets, their technical skills and coordinated teamwork.
