KhNUIA cadets attended a master class on Easter egg making

The Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, with the assistance of Vinnytsia Regional Cultural Center “Shchedryk”, organized a visit to a master class on Easter egg making for higher education students who are orphans, children deprived of parental care, and children of deceased servicemen.

The event was hosted by the Easter egg maker, director of “Shchedryk” VRCC, Natalia SENTEMON.

Cultural and aesthetic education is an important area of work at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The goal of the master class was to deepen knowledge about the most ancient holiday and traditions of our people associated with Easter.

An Easter egg is a unique artifact of Ukrainian culture. Students had a good opportunity to get acquainted with the process of its creation and learn how to use a special tool — a pysanka. In a friendly atmosphere, helping each other, the cadets learned about the symbolism of ornaments, painting techniques, and independently created their own Easter eggs.
