Scientific and pedagogical workers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training, together with combat training instructors of the 120th Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the brigade of the NGU "Chervona Kalyna", conducted a practical lesson for higher education students in the discipline "Tactical and Special Training" on the topic: "Tactical assistance to the wounded at the pre-hospital stage".
The cadets practiced the tactics of communication in a small tactical group (MTG) during the search for armed criminals in open areas; coordination measures between MTGs in urban areas; tactical actions of the unit in the affected area; providing assistance to the wounded at the pre-hospital stage; use of individual first aid equipment and evacuation of the wounded from the zone of combat contact.
After the lesson, a briefing was held, during which the results of the exercises were analyzed, problematic and positive points were identified. The cadets were given further goals for self-improvement and increasing their professional skills.
The lesson was held using airsoft equipment.
