The Carpathian Cup was held in Ivano-Frankivsk - Ivano-Frankivsk Muay Thai boxing championship dedicated to the memory of the Hero of Ukraine Roman Kornuta. Athletes from different regions of Ukraine took part in the competition.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was represented by the 3rd year cadet of the ERI No. 1, Maryna Chaban. She successfully performed at the tournament and won 1st place in the weight category up to 63.5 kg.

Muay Thai, or Thai boxing, is one of the most dynamic types of martial arts, requiring a high level of physical training and endurance. Women's Muay Thai in Ukraine is actively developing, and athletes successfully represent their educational institutions and regions at prestigious tournaments.
