For 11 weeks, representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs participated in the Virtual English Language Educator Program «Virtual English Language Educator Specialist, a US State Department scholarship programme», financed by the US government.

Weekly, three groups of participants attended online classes on the Zoom platform. The program included professionally oriented topics, interactive tasks using modern digital resources, and methodological recommendations to improve the quality of English language teaching at the university. The organization and moderation of the program were carried out by the International Cooperation Department and the Department of Language Training.

Participation in the program allowed future police officers to improve their level of professional English proficiency, and academic staff to enhance their English teaching skills.

Based on the results of the work, certificates from the U.S. State Department program (Virtual English Language Educator Program) and American English teacher Bonny Brawner were awarded to 65 university representatives: 45 cadets of the first-third years of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-4 and 20 academic staff.
