KhNUIA scholar spoke to participants of the Summer School of Constitutional Law

Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksii BRUSLYK took part in the 13th Velvet Summer School “Rule of Law and Constitutionalism”, where he spoke as a speaker. During the lecture, he told the audience about the challenges and tools for protecting constitutional democracy under the legal regime of martial law in Ukraine.

The participants discussed the legal nature of the legal regime of martial law, the specifics of the application of measures of the legal regime of martial law and the exercise of powers by the executive branch in a special period. They discussed the challenges facing the legal system and the state in connection with the Russian armed aggression.

The Summer School of Constitutional Law is a special platform where, for many years, the values of constitutionalism and the rule of law have been passed on to new generations of lawyers every year. This is a place where prominent Ukrainian law professors share their scientific achievements and wisdom with young lawyers in a relaxed atmosphere.
