35 years ago, Ukraine regained its state independence. Since then, more than one generation of Ukrainians has proven that freedom is not only a right, but also a responsibility.
Today, this responsibility is also felt by future police officers - cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. They study, train, temper their character and prepare for service that requires professionalism, courage and willingness to protect people.
According to them, it is simple things that actually have the greatest value: the opportunity to study, be close to their relatives, dream, choose their own path and build a future in their state.
We remember those who gave their lives for the independence of Ukraine, and thank those who continue to defend it today.
May Ukraine stand, win and forever remain free and independent.
