The first training session for National Contact Points (NCPs) of the Horizon Europe programme was held in Kyiv. The event was attended by Oleksii SERDIUK, Head of the Research Laboratory for Social and Psychological Support, Assistance and Rehabilitation of MIA Employees, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who performs the functions of the NCPs in the direction of “Civil Security for Society” based on Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
In general, this is the fourth training in a series of events of this format conducted by the Office for the NCPs network. This time, among the issues that were covered in detail by the specialists of the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, were:
• the current status of participation of Ukrainian organizations in Horizon Europe competitions and the activities of the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine of the National University of Internal Affairs;
• communication, dissemination and use in the context of the Programme projects;
• legal aspects of involving subcontractors in the Programme projects, including standards, liability and risks;
• ethics, inclusiveness and gender equality in Horizon Europe projects;
• a toolbox for the effective work of the NCPs.
