Representatives of the Student Council of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined a working meeting with students and cadets of higher education institutions of Kharkiv region, dedicated to topical issues of the development of education and the activities of student self-government bodies.

The meeting was joined by the Deputy Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Vita Kovalska. Student representatives from 21 higher education institutions of region took part in the event.

During the open dialogue, they discussed the priorities of the development of higher education, support for Student Self-Government, the organization of offline education and practice in the conditions of a full-scale war. Particular attention was paid to the issues of state grants for education and the introduction of dual education.

As the representatives of the authorities and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine noted, the dual form of education combines theory with practice and helps students gain professional experience during their studies. Deputy Minister of Education and Science Mykola Trofymenko announced that from September 1, academic and named scholarships will be doubled.
