A graduate of the educational and rehabilitation institution of higher education Pavlo LVIVSKYI, who has had a disability group since childhood, successfully completed the theoretical course of study at the “Barrier-Free Driving School” of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and is preparing to take the exam. Obtaining a driver’s license for him is another important step towards independence, freedom of movement and the realization of life’s needs, in particular, in employment. The “Barrier-Free Driving School” for Pavlo became a place for gaining new knowledge, as well as a space for communication and support.
“I have heard about this driving school for a long time – my friends recommended it to me. At first I did not dare, but later I decided to turn another page in my life. When I started studying, I realized that I was doing everything right and everything would definitely work out for me. In addition to attending interesting classes, I met here with servicemen who were seriously injured during their service. We quickly found a common language, became friends, and this is very supportive,” Pavlo shared. He is currently preparing to take the theoretical exam at the territorial service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
