During a meeting with cadets, the university’s Rector, Valerii SOKURENKO, congratulated first-year cadet Yana SHELEMBA on her victory at the Ukrainian Hand-to-Hand Combat Championship among adults. In a tense fight, the freshman won the title of Ukrainian champion at the competitions dedicated to the memory of the Hero of Ukraine, Major General Maksym SHAPOVAL, in which 250 of the strongest athletes from 15 regions of Ukraine fought for victory.
