In order to improve practical skills of actions in a difficult operational environment, cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs conducted an on-site practical session on tactical and special training on the topic «Practice of individual tactical actions of employees of the National Police of Ukraine under the condition of intensive fire contact».

During the training, which took place using paintball equipment, future police officers practiced algorithms for actions during intense fire contact, tactical movement by small task forces, mutual cover, selection of shelters, as well as effective communication and coordination of actions in a rapidly changing environment. The practical format of the class allowed the cadets to bring the educational process as close as possible to the real conditions of performance of official tasks, to improve the skills of team interaction and operational decision-making.

The class was conducted by Oleksandr Skliar, a senior lecturer at the Department of Tactical and Special Training, together with representatives of the «Sparta» paintball club, who provided practical modeling of tactical situations and training support.
