
The event was attended by academic staff and cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, as well as representatives of subordinate personnel of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi region, the Patrol Police Battalion for Kamianets-Podilskyi District of the Patrol Police Department in Khmelnytskyi region of the Patrol Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine.

The students deepened their knowledge on topics such as stabilization measures and public order protection, criminal analysis, telephone security, international criminal law, the European Court of Human Rights, international humanitarian law, tactical medicine and clearing of premises, the use of UAVs, methods of recording the effects of shelling, taking samples for DNA examination and inspection of crime scenes, and paid attention to working with vulnerable victims and witnesses, protocols for their protection, and interviewing techniques.

During the training, the students systematized their existing knowledge with practical exercises under the guidance of EUAM trainers, and learned skills that will help them to ensure respect for human and civil rights and to conduct prompt and high-quality investigations of war crimes in accordance with national legislation and European standards.
