The participants of the practical and theoretical training under the guidance of combat veterans - certified tactical medicine instructors - continue to work actively on the issues of providing self- and mutual aid to the wounded at the pre-hospital stage.
The cadets are learning to identify shock conditions due to blood loss, reviewing the M.A.R.C.H. algorithm, practicing the ability to stop massive bleeding (self-help) and perform rescue measures as a rescuer (for the wounded). They also practice skills to ensure airway patency and learn effective rescue methods in case of fragmentary injuries, fractures, bruises and burns.
During practical cases, students learn how to provide assistance to the wounded in areas under enemy fire, in the field, and during tactical evacuation. They are conducted with the help of specialized equipment, including M.I.L.E.S. technology (laser shot and laser damage system), training weapons equipped with non-lethal ammunition, and models of explosive devices.
The event was supported by the All-Ukrainian Association “Patriot”.
