Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with Kharkiv Regional Branch of the All-Ukrainian Public Organization "Association of Civilians of Ukraine", as well as scientists from the Departments of Civil, Labor and Economic Law of the ERI No. 1 and Civil Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 5, held a scientific and practical conference "Problems of Civil Law and Procedure" in a mixed format.

The event was dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the birth of an outstanding Ukrainian scientist in the field of civil law - Professor, Doctor of Law, laureate of the State Prize of the Ukrainian SSR, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Oleksandr Anatoliiovych Pushkin.

The conference was attended by leading scientists and practitioners, including the director of the Institute of Lawmaking and Scientific and Legal Expertise of the NAS of Ukraine, Oleksii Kot, deputy director for scientific work of this institute, Andrii Hryniak, as well as the head of the Department of Civil Law of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Vadym Tsiura.

The event was opened by the First Vice-Rector of KhNUIA, Viktor Vasylenko, who emphasized the significant contribution of Oleksandr Anatoliiovych Pushkin to the development of domestic civil science and the training of legal personnel. He emphasized that the annual conference dedicated to his memory has become a good scientific tradition of the university and an important platform for professional discussion.
