The annual scientific event brought together leading Ukrainian and foreign specialists in the fields of law, psychology, sociology, and pedagogy. The conference was organized by the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 of the university under the direct supervision of the Head of the Department, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Olena YEVDOKIMOVA. 
Opening the scientific meeting, the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Valerii SOKURENKO noted that the holding of the International Psychological Forum is a landmark event for the entire Ukrainian scientific community, and especially for the institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, which today play an important role in ensuring law and order in the state and maintaining stability under the legal regime of martial law. He emphasized that modern challenges require scientists, practitioners and educators to find new approaches to supporting the psychological resilience of society. The rector expressed confidence that the exchange of knowledge, research results and practical developments will contribute to the development of new approaches to solving urgent psychological issues during the war.

Director of the Department for Supporting the Activities of the Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Serhii BOICHUK emphasized that the war unleashed by the Russian Federation against Ukraine is a struggle not only for territory, but also for our way of life, thinking, dignity, freedom and future. The strength of Ukrainian defenders lies not only in the ability to perfectly wield weapons, but also in endurance, compassion, resilience and the ability to remain invincible where everything around is collapsing. That is why the exchange of knowledge, experience and scientific innovations between leading specialists from different countries will contribute to the preservation of the lives and mental health of Ukrainian military and law enforcement officers, will help create a new model of professional psychological support - modern, empathetic and scientifically based.
First Vice President of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Oleksandr BANDURKA devoted his speech to the fundamental issues of development of modern areas of psychology, law, and criminology, focusing on the problems of artificial intelligence.
Rector of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine Dmytro SHVETS emphasized that domestic psychologists are faced with the task not only of developing new approaches to supporting the psychological stability of specialists in wartime, but also of creating effective mechanisms for psychological rehabilitation in the post-war period, because after the victory over the enemy, when the reconstruction of the country will become the main priority, our specialists will face no less difficult challenges - the restoration of the mental and physical health of society.
Dean of the Faculty of Psychology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Professor of the Department of Experimental and Applied Psychology, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine Ivan DANYLIUK paid attention to the fundamental problems and prospects for the development of domestic psychological science. He also emphasized the relevance of developing a professional standard for a practical psychologist.
Deputy Chief of the Main Police Department in Kharkiv Region - Head of the Investigation Department Serhii BOLVINOV said in his speech that the police officers of the Kharkiv region not only perform their duties in extremely difficult conditions, but also quite often become the first to provide psychological support to victims, in particular children, the elderly, families who have lost their homes, and victims of war crimes. Given the proximity of the combat zone and the extreme conditions of service, police officers themselves often need systematic psychological assistance.
The report of the Deputy Head of the Scientific and Research Center of Service and Combat Activities of the National Guard of Ukraine, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Ihor PRYKHODKO was devoted to the development and testing of the model of psychological support for military personnel's combat operations.
Professor of the Department of Military Law of the Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Vladyslav KARIELIN spoke about the peculiarities of training military specialists at the Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
The founder of the charitable organization “CHARISTIAN FOUNDATION “HAPPY MIND HELP” Oleksandr TEN presented a psychological online tool for prevention and increasing the resilience of employees of the security and defense sector of Ukraine and their relatives, refugees, IDPs, schoolchildren and youth who have received psychological trauma as a result of the military aggression of the Russian Federation.
The report on the topic “Prospects for the practical implementation of the NATO core curriculum on resilience” was delivered by the head of the research laboratory on the problems of law enforcement management and its psychological support of the educational and scientific institute of postgraduate education of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Yulia BOIKO-BUZYL.
The professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 of KhNUIA, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Professor Iryna NECHITAILO, reported on some indicators of post-traumatic stress disorder in the civilian population of the Kharkiv region in the conditions of a full-scale military invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
The Head of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 of KhNUIA, Olena YEVDOKIMOVA, delivered a report on the topic “Military nihilism as a military-military variety of legal nihilism.” Summing up the conference, she noted that more than 250 specialists participated in the scientific forum, and a collection of scientific papers will be published based on its results.
