On May 7, 2025, Lviv State University of Internal Affairs will host a roundtable with international participation titled «The Role of OSINT Research in Enhancing National Security of Ukraine».

   The roundtable will focus on the following areas:

1. OSINT research as a tool for detecting, documenting, and investigating war crimes.

2. Counteracting information threats and disinformation through OSINT methods.

3. The use of OSINT tools in law enforcement to ensure national security and public order.

4. Open-source analysis in monitoring financial flows, cyber threats, and critical infrastructure status.

5. OSINT in combating illegal trade and evading sanctions (drug trafficking, trafficking in cultural property, sanctioned individuals).

6. The prospects for the development of OSINT tools in the security sector amidst contemporary challenges.

Scientists, practitioners, young researchers, students, and postgraduate students interested in discussing the proposed issues are invited to participate in the roundtable.

An electronic collection of abstracts from the participants’ scientific reports will be published.
