A renewed Memorandum of Cooperation on the activities of the Legal Clinic of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the Educational and Legal Committee of Vinnytsia Region Student Council was signed between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the Educational and Legal Committee of Vinnytsia Region Student Council. First Vice-Rector Viktor VASYLENKO and Deputy Head of the Student Council Yevhenia STANISLAVENKO discussed ways of further cooperation and a number of joint legal educational events.
Viktor VASYLENKO emphasized that in modern conditions, a higher education institution acts as a powerful center of cooperation and partnership between civil society institutions, public authorities and the academic community. He emphasized: “The importance of this role requires constant improvement of interaction with public organizations and youth associations. The text of the renewed Memorandum of Cooperation takes into account the priority of protecting the rights of servicemen and veterans under martial law, as well as measures to prevent offenses in educational institutions of Vinnytsia Region.”
The Chairman of the Student Parliament of KhNUIA Mykola SOROCHYSHYN said that constant interaction and exchange of information have been established between the Student Council and the student self-government of the university, in particular, joint actions dedicated to the protection of the rights of education seekers have been repeatedly held.
The event was attended by the coordinators of the branch of the Legal Clinic of KhNUIA in Vinnytsia - Deputy Director for Educational and Research Activities of the ERI No. 2 Serhii HIRENKO and Senior Researcher of the Research Laboratory of Social and Psychological Support, Assistance and Rehabilitation of Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI No. 3 Vitalii NAIDA. They noted that representatives of the Student Council are regularly invited to hold consultative meetings for local councils and residents of territorial communities of Vinnytsia region on topical legal issues. In addition, joint trainings have been repeatedly held for student youth of Vinnytsia region.
