The celebration of the Independence Day of Ukraine in the solemn hall began with the National Anthem.

The rector of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs congratulated the cadets and employees of higher education institution on the Independence Day of Ukraine.

“The Independence Day is a historical memory of the struggle of our ancestors for freedom and independence. Every step, choice, contribution to the independence of our country is the legacy of those who stood on this path, experienced difficulties and victories. We have something to be proud of. And we see how Ukraine is changing, growing and developing.
This day should be a reminder of our responsibility to future generations, we should preserve and strengthen our independence, protect the country from an external aggressor.
The best confirmation of the desire to live freely and independently is the way our soldiers are greeted in the de-occupied territories. They are greeted with flowers as winners, because we are already winners for the whole world. So let freedom of thought and action be your advantage on the path of life! Let our state prosper, and let our people live in peace, harmony, prosperity, and independence!" - said Oleksandr Morhunov, the rector of the DSUIA.
