A meeting was held with veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, devoted to issues of employment and further professional realization after dismissal from service. The event is organized by the social protection and follow-up sector.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was represented at the event by Oleksandr Hovorukha, Assistant Rector for Veterans' Policy.
During the meeting, the participants were informed about the possibilities of serving and working in units of the MIA system, employment options in the civil sphere, current vacancies, as well as about obtaining higher education in the field of the MIA, professional training and retraining, participation in veterans' support programs.

The event was attended by representatives of the MDNP in Vinnytsia region, military units of the National Guard of Ukraine, Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Vinnytsia region, the 24th border detachment named after the Hero of Ukraine Senior Lieutenant Viacheslav Semenov, the Regional Service Center of the Main Service Center of the MIA in Vinnytsia, Cherkasy and Kirovohrad regions (a branch of the MSC of the MIA), Vinnytsia Lyceum of Security and National Patriotic Education of LSULS, Vinnytsia Regional Employment Center, Department of Veteran Policy of Vinnytsia RMA and Department of Social Policy of the Vinnytsia City Council.
The participation of KhNUIA staff in such events is an important component of the implementation of the university's veteran policy and contributes to the expansion of opportunities for the professional implementation of veterans both within the MIA and outside its borders.
