During the performance of a combat mission near Bakhmut, a student of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Nikita Oleksandrovych Shapariev, died.

Nikita was born on January 21, 2003. Since his youth, he dreamed of defending Ukraine. At the university, he combined his studies with military service. As part of the special operations forces, he participated in the battles for Rubizhne and Popasna in Luhansk region. During one of the artillery attacks, Nikita showed heroism - he pulled his comrades out of the rubble.
In 2023, after the battle near Bakhmut, Nikita Shapariev went missing. Without losing hope, the search continued for two years, but… recently the fact of his death was confirmed. Nikita's life was tragically cut short two days before his 20th birthday, but his feat will forever remain in our memory as an example of true self-sacrifice, brotherly devotion, and the indomitable spirit of a Ukrainian warrior.
