Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs has lost another brave and courageous warrior who stood up to his last breath to defend his native land.
On January 13, 2025, a graduate of the University, Senior Police Lieutenant Vladyslav KUPIN, died during a combat mission to repel the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine near the village of Toretsk, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region. He was the deputy platoon commander of the UPOP No. 1 assault regiment “Safari”.
Vladyslav entered Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in 2019 at the Faculty #2. After the second year of studying under the 2+1 program, he transferred to the Faculty of Correspondence Studies. After graduating from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in 2022, he began his service in the police. In 2023, he voluntarily transferred to the Special Police Department of the United Assault Brigade of the National Police of Ukraine “Liut”.
