A delegation of representatives of the European Union Advisory Mission to Ukraine, consisting of Senior Cybercrime Advisor Kirill MILEV and Senior OSINT Advisor Theo MANDOKI, visited Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Viktor VASYLENKO expressed his gratitude to the EUAM Ukraine delegation for the visit, noting them as a reliable partner in the implementation of numerous joint projects. He emphasized the important role of the EUAM as a respected participant in many international scientific, practical and educational events organized by the university. The First Vice-Rector noted that Kharkiv Police University is a leading higher education institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the field of cybersecurity, including thanks to the comprehensive support from the European Union Advisory Mission to Ukraine.
Mykola MARCHUK presented the training ground projects to the meeting participants and invited EUAM representatives to support the creation of a Police Training Center, in particular in terms of training in the use of special equipment and cybersecurity. Oleksandr MANZHAI presented the project of a training ground for information (law enforcement) systems and technologies.
Tetiana MATIUSHKOVA noted the long-term cooperation with EUAM in Ukraine, in particular within the framework of international technical assistance projects.
EUAM representatives participated in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Security in Cyberspace".
On behalf of EUAM Ukraine, Senior Cybercrime Advisor Kirill MILEV addressed the meeting participants, expressing his support for the university. Senior OSINT Advisor Theo MANDOKI assured of readiness for further cooperation, in particular in the field of cybersecurity.
EUAM representatives expressed interest in considering projects on cyber defense and their further support. They also outlined areas for continued cooperation, in particular, improving educational and methodological materials for disciplines in specialties 125 “Cyber Security and Information Protection” and 126 “Information Systems and Technologies”.
The participants of the working meeting agreed on the need to jointly implement projects to improve the educational process for the purpose of high-quality training of future law enforcement officers in the field of cyberspace protection.
