Natalia HROM, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Administrative Activity of KhNUIA, held a class with cadets on the topic: “Organization of the activities of the Custody Records units of the National Police of Ukraine”.

Taras ZAKHAREVYCH, Human Rights Compliance Inspector of Vinnytsia Police Department No. 1 of Vinnytsia Regional Police Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia Oblast, spoke about the successful Custody Records project in the field of human rights protection. Mykola RACHUK, a community police officer of the same unit, described the work of the Custody Records in more detail. He emphasized that the Community Police Officer project is an effective step in the reform of the National Police aimed at the safety and protection of the population, which was presented at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in 2019.

Olena SUVOROVA, Head of the Human Rights Compliance Sector of Vinnytsia Regional Police Department, spoke about the main tasks and purpose of Custody Records, namely transparency, digital control, and video recording at all stages. The information subsystem is part of the reform of Ukraine's law enforcement system in line with European human rights standards.

The cadets also learned about the basics and principles of fingerprinting and mastered fingerprinting skills.
