VR, drones and takmed: students of Pyrohov Lyceum visited KhNUIA
НАВС

Students of M. I. Pyrohov Humanitarian Lyceum No. 1 visited Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The open day was an introduction to modern security technologies, tactical training and the profession of a police officer.

The First Vice-Rector of the university, Viktor Vasylenko, talked to the lyceum students about choosing a life path, responsibility and the vocation to serve people and the state.

After the meeting, the participants visited interactive locations prepared by teachers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training and cadets of the SHIELD unit.

At the firing location, the lyceum students got acquainted with modern weapons and tested a multimedia shooting range. During mine safety classes, they learned about explosive objects and tried their hand at training scenarios with laser tag and airsoft.

The scientific and practical center "Wings of the Law" attracted special attention, where participants not only saw UAVs, but also independently controlled mini-drones.

During the tactical medicine location, lyceum students learned to apply tourniquets and practiced first aid skills on simulators. The VR zone provided an opportunity to test simulators that are used in the educational process to model police situations.

The open day gave the participants vivid emotions and showed that a modern police officer is a specialist who combines professional training, technology and a willingness to help people.
