The ability to properly protect weapons, even in stressful situations, is an important component of the training of future police officers. Special physical training includes techniques for using countermeasures that help maintain control over weapons in conditions of physical confrontation, as well as improve movements and reactions to attempts to capture them.

Inspector of Platoon No. 2 of the Tactical and Operational Response Company of the Patrol Police Department in Khmelnytskyi Oblast Dmytro Orishchuk, together with employees of the Department of Special Physical Training, Associate Professor Bohdan Lukin and Senior Lecturer Ihor Ostrovskyi, demonstrated to the cadets what the position should be for saving weapons, how to control the distance, and also practiced the basic techniques for repelling attacks and close-range combat skills.
